2025 Achieving Your Goals as an Entrepreneur Scholarship

At Jacqueline A. Salcines, PA, we believe that every student has the right to live out their dreams and achieve their goals, regardless of their financial background and means. Unique experiences and backgrounds help to shape goals and dreams and make them specific to each individual. No matter the goal or the background, we believe that any goal is achievable with hard work and dedication.

The goals of entrepreneurship often center around an idea that provides unique value to the marketplace. Entrepreneurs aim to satisfy consumer needs, achieve independence and financial freedom, create a unique brand identity, and so much more. Becoming an entrepreneur and launching your own business takes strength, confidence, autonomy, and drive. Entrepreneurs can make meaningful impacts in their communities through job creation, problem solving, and fostering change.

This scholarship aims to highlight the goals of entrepreneurs by helping to manage the challenges that come with financing further education. Through your application, you may be able to earn $1,000 towards your education. Submit your application before September 30, 2025, via the scholarship page on our website.

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or two to four year post-secondary institution for the Spring 2026 Semester.
  • Employees, immediate family members (siblings, parents, children, spouses), and people living in the same households of these individuals who are associated with Jacqueline A. Salcines, PA, are not eligible to participate in the competition. 
  • To be considered for this scholarship you should be in overall good academic standing and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Application Requirements

  • The candidate must fill out the form below with all necessary information
  • The candidate must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the prompt: What experience in your life changed your mindset or trajectory that set in motion what you now consider your passion in life? With this experience in mind, write about what occurred that set the wheels in motion to pursue this career path or area of study. How did these experiences shape your entrepreneurial goals?
    • Please note that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is deemed present in the essay, the application will be denied.
  • The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.
  • The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
  • Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state of Florida.

Application Deadline and Instructions

The deadline to apply for this opportunity is September 30, 2025. Any applications received after this date will not be considered. The recipient of the 2025 Achieving Your Goals as an Entrepreneur Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.
