Jess Aberman is a seasoned attorney at Salcineslaw with over a decade of experience in property insurance defense, real estate acquisitions and development, and complex real estate litigation.

Prior to joining Salcineslaw, Jess served as the Managing Attorney of the Pre-Litigation Department at The Downs Law Group, where she oversaw class action and mass tort cases on a national scale. She managed the pre-litigation team, guiding cases from intake through resolution, while also working closely with the litigation team to prepare complex matters for trial. This dual experience gave her a comprehensive understanding of every stage of high-stakes litigation and the strategic insight to position her clients for success.

At Vernis & Bowling, Jess served as Corporate Counsel and Real Estate Development Manager at Zaveco Development, LLP in South Florida, where she conducted research to source land and determine permitted land uses, led due diligence efforts, drafted and negotiated LOIs and Purchase and Sales Agreements, and rezoned land into higher density opportunities.

She has experience as a Complex Real Estate Litigation Attorney at Conrad & Scherer, LLP in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she assisted with the prosecution of a complex real estate action through the conclusion of a bench trial, legal research and drafting of a wide range of complex pre-trial motions with a fact pattern of first impression, and extensive document review, analysis and redaction of tens of thousands of documents in preparation for trial.
